Legends of Tomorrow 1×08 (CW) Written by Sarah Nicole Jones & Cortney Norris

March 10, 2016

The team tracks Savage to a small town in Oregon during the 1950s. Upon arrival, they discover there have been a recent string of murders and they suspect Savage is involved.

Rising through the ranks and earning her production stripes in film & television during the last decade, Cortney Norris got her first writing credit in 2015 on The Flash’s pivotal episode “Who Is Harrison Wells?”.
Along with her Flash co-writer Ray Utarnachitt, she joined the writing team of Legends of Tomorrow in mid 2015 to pen two episodes: the March 10 “Night of the Hawk” and the upcoming “River of Time” two months later, co-written with Anderson Mackenzie and directed by Alice Troughton.

Her co-writer on “Night of the Hawk” is none other than Sarah Nicole Jones. A former writer’s assistant for Eureka and story editor, Jones made her debut in 2012 on Longmire, writing 8 episodes of the A&E series and penning 3 episodes of the ABC show Forever.
A producer on Legends of Tomorrow, she made her entrance with the episode 1×04 “White Knights” co-written with her Forever writing room partner Phil Klemmer and has been tasked with the upcoming 1×13 “Leviathan”.

Who do you hire to direct this major sci-fi/action series? A genre film legend in its own right, that’s who.
Before Rachel Talalay in April, horror icon Joe Dante has been called to lead the team of superheroes, traveling through time with them to the 50’s on “Night of the Hawk”.
While preparing his new feature Labirintus and developing his passion project The Man With Kaleidoscope Eyes, Dante has been quite active in TV, alternating between episodes of Hawaii Five-0, Witches of East End and Salem.
