Arrow 4×15 (CW) Co-written by Keto Shimizu
February 24, 2016

Oliver realizes he needs help battling Darhk so he calls in an old friend – Vixen. Using her magical ability to summon animal powers, Vixen gets a lock on Darhk’s location and the team goes to war. Meanwhile, Thea has a heart-to-heart talk with Malcolm.
Vixen comes to life and arrives in Star City!
The DC Comics heroine created by Gerry Conway and Bob Oksner in 1981 made her Arrowverse debut as an animated character on the 6 part webseries Vixen in late August, directed by James Tucker and created by Wendy Mericle, Keto Shimizu, Brian Ford Sullivan & Lauren Certo.
The limited animated series, featuring the voices of Stephen Amell, Grant Gustin and Megalyn Echikunwoke as the titular character, was expected to become a stapple in the Arrow universe if the series were to be successful. It didn’t took long, given the positive reception: her arrival as a live action character was confirmed in December, still incarnated by Megalyn Echikunwoke.
Having played Isabelle Tyler in The 4400, Echikunwoke is no stranger to superpowers, which is a good thing as Vixen -also known Mari McCabe- has the power to mimic the abilities of any animal that has ever lived on Earth.
The animated series has already been renewed for a second season, and it woulnd’t be a surprise if the live action heroine went on to get her own spin-off series or join the Legends of Tomorrow…
