The Fosters 3×16 (Freeform) Directed by Anne Renton

February 29, 2016

After a student objects to Brandon and Mat’s Romeo and Juliet musical, Lena has to tell Brandon that he might not be able to put the production up at school.

After working with Jane Lynch on her short Love is Love as well as Kathleen Turner, Emily Deschanel & Jason Ritter on her debut feature The Perfect Family, Anne Renton is directing her first episode of the Freeform series The Fosters.
This is not the Australian filmmaker’s first foray into television, as she continued her collaboration with Emily Deschanel by directing 3 episodes of Bones in 2014 & 2015.

“EQ” is the second episode of the season written by Anne Meredith, who won the Adapted Long Form Writers Guild of America Award in 1998 with Bastard Out of Carolina and once again in 2004 with Out of the Ashes.
