First established in 1977 by Women in Film Los Angeles, the Women in Film Crystal + Lucy Awards honor women in film and media.
Hosted by Tracy Ellis Ross, the 2014 fundraising dinner highlighted leading women who excel at their creative endeavors, from Jennifer Lee to Cate “The World is Round” Blanchett & Kerry Washington.

Max Mara Face of the Future Award – Rose Byrne

Created in 2006 with the support of Crystal + Lucy Awards sponsor Max Mara, the Max Mara Face of the Future Award is presented to an actress at a turning point of her caereer.

Norma Zarky Humanitarian Award – Eva Longoria

Established in 1979, The Norma Zarky Humanitarian Award is given to individuals who have demonstrated support for the advancement of equal opportunity.

Dorothy Arzner Directors Award – Jennifer Lee

Honoring the memory of the first female DGA member, the Dorothy Arzner Directors Award highlights the important role of women directors.

Crystal Award For Excellence In Film – Cate Blanchett

Founded in 1977, the Crystal Award For Excellence In Film honors women who have worked, either through their films or behind the scenes, to expand the role of women within the entertainment industry.

Lucy Award For Excellence In Television – Kerry Washington

Created in 1994 and co-presented by the estate of Lucille Ball, the Lucy Award For Excellence In Television recognizes outstanding and leading women in television.

Founder’s Award – Bonnie Spence and Judith Parker Harris

Established in 1996, the Founder Award is given to people for their service to the Women In Film organization.
