Previously established in Boston, the Etheria Film Night invaded the American Cinematheque in Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles on July 12th to celebrate emerging women genre filmmakers and their short films.

Helmed by Heidi Honeycutt, Kayley Viteo & Stacy Pippi Hammond, the first Hollywood edition of the Etheria Film Night featured directors of science fiction, thrillers, horror and action, proving once again that genre fiction has no gender.

From parallel dimensions to a tense thriller, japanese horror to a futuristic retelling of native american lore, jelly fights to killer dancers and vampires in the 50’s, seven short film were shortlisted and shown between the U.S. Premiere of Axelle Carolyn’s supernatural drama Soulmate and the Inspiration Award given to director Lexi Alexander.

Discover the movies & their trailers below and head to Etheria Film Night: Awards & Interviews to learn more about the Best Film & Audience Award winners.
